Learning Offerings:
Collections are available to both customers and authorized Dell Technologies resellers, distributors, original equipment manufacturers and service enabled partners (collectively 'Partners'). Collections consist of predefined video and eLearning offerings. Our Dell Technologies Sales Consultants work closely with customers and Partners to define the optimum collection contents and duration arrangements. An example of a Collection would be the On Demand Learning Center (ODLC).
Subscriptions are valid for one (1) year from date of invoice and are assigned to one individual. Subscriptions allow the designated individual to consume training from the Dell EMC Education Services catalogue.
v-Subscriptions are valid for one (1) year from date of invoice and consist of select video training offerings. These offerings are assigned to one individual for use over the above-referenced one (1) year period. V-Subscriptions allow the individual subscriber to consume designated training from the Dell EMC Education Services catalogue.
ValuePaks/Bundles are valid for one (1) year from date of invoice and refer to pre-defined offerings containing multiple components. ValuePaks may be video based depending on learning selected. ValuePaks are frequently selected by students who are looking to complete a curriculum path.
Training Credits are valid for one (1) year from date of invoice and are considered Dell EMC Education Services currency in that they may be redeemed to purchase Dell Technologies Education Services training offerings while such currency is valid. Training Credits are ideal if the exact course selection and/or delivery modality preferred by the student is not known at the time of purchase.
Delivery Modalities:
Classroom (formerly known as Instructor-Led Training or ILT)
Traditional classroom training, with hands-on labs or case-studies, delivered at one of our many training centers worldwide, by a highly qualified Dell Technologies instructor.
Virtual Class (formerly known as Online Instructor-Led Training or Online ILT)
A real-time interactive training experience where students participate online to access the virtual classroom. Lecture, discussion, questions and answers, and lab exercises make this a rich and flexible training experience. Select here for more details.
On Demand Class (formerly known as Video Classroom Training or e-Learning)
Training delivered using recorded electronic technologies, available anytime (rather than a scheduled event). Packaged as a course in the learning management system (or equivalent platform) and may contain voice-over, videos, student guides, simulations, assessments, links to other content, etc. This would include traditional voice-over PPT e-Learning, recorded web events, Video ILTs, etc. Could range from minutes to days.

Functionality Changes
We have recently aligned our catalog to offer customers a single unified experience and ease purchase of any education offer from Dell Technologies Education Services. This unified integration resulted in some minor changes; notably, you will see the most recent 12 months of launchable content in your enrolments. Activated On Demand training older than 12 months is viewable as a single text list but cannot be launched. This list may be accessed via a link under myTraining.
On Demand Lab
Hands-on learning with one or more objective, utilizing electronic technologies, available anytime. Includes access to the lab environment and materials to support learning objective (context, lab steps or tasks, etc.). Current offerings use VMware Learning Platform as the lab environment but should be able to accommodate other lab environments. Could range from minutes to hours.
Assessment
An online offering that will launch the tool to test or measure the learner’s knowledge of a particular subject. Includes both pre- and post-assessments and Technical Skill Assessment.
Blended
Essentially a session-based offering that can combine sessions, web-based trainings, assessments, and ad hoc tasks into a single learning program delivered to a group of learners in collaboration with specified mentors and task evaluators.
Cancellation and Refunds:
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Dell Technologies, all training will begin on the scheduled date. Should Customer request to cancel or reschedule the Education Services, Dell Technologies will refund Customer’s pre-paid training fees as follows:

- For Live Classroom (public) offerings, Customer may request to transfer their training dates to another available date up to fourteen (14) full calendar days prior to the start of the course for which they are scheduled. A cancellation or change within fourteen (14) full calendar days of the confirmed course start date will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the course fee.
- For Live Classroom (on-site) offerings, unless otherwise stated in a separate statement of work, Customer may request to transfer their training dates to another available date up to twenty-one (21) full calendar days prior to the start of the course for which they are scheduled. A cancellation or change within twenty-one (21) full calendar days of the confirmed course start date will result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the course fee.
- Should Dell Technologies cancel any scheduled Education Services, Dell Technologies will use reasonable efforts to give Customer notice of cancellation and will endeavor to reschedule as agreed between Dell Technologies and Customer. If the Education Services are cancelled for reasons within Dell Technologies’ control, and cannot reasonably be rescheduled, Dell Technologies will refund Customer’s associated pre-paid training fees. The refund will be Customer’s only recourse in the event of Technologies ‘cancellation.
